A place where you can learn about martial arts with laugh

XMAX previously known as TNT Kickboxing Equine Park is established by DS Martial Arts Academy in year 2019. They provide variety of classes under one roof for all ages and abilities - Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Kids Kickboxing, Taekwondo and Fight Class.

I reach out to them to assist on building the website with their new branding.

Information Architecture Consideration

Based on the insights gained from the personas and the competitor analysis. I created three details pages containing the informations the users are mainly seraching for - class details and trainer details.

First Page- Class Details

In the class details page, I included the class introduction, target age group, equipement required, class type and packages.

Second Page - Overall Class Schedule

In the overall class schedule page, I included the classes schedule and label the classes with respective class color.

Thrid Page - Trainer Details

In the overall trainer details page, I inlcuded the trainer picture, trainer name, trainer title, year of experience, certificate, speciality, and motto.

What did I learn?

Every Details Matter

When working for client who target audience is board, every details matter. From different classes content, hierachy between elements, scale and propostion. Everything needs to be thought through and clearly explained to avoid misleading.

Persistence is Key to Success

As a freshman in UI/UX field, I had to make extra efforts to deliver a quality product as much as possible. Once I make the promise I will deliver every best I can. I changed the design quite a few time and I think that this is common in design industry.
